Search Engine

All of Contracopia's main pages have a Search box in the top right corner. This feature can help you find the music you are looking for. Type a band name, CD title, tune, or musician name, click the Search button, and a list of CDs will appear. This search engine searches the CD pages on Contracopia only.

The Search box below gives you the ability to do a more precise search. Normally, a search on the word Miller will return a list of CDs that feature Rodney Miller, Elvie Miller, Jeff Miller, and CD titles that contain the word miller, and CDs that have a track title with the word miller. It is a long list. If you searched on Jeff Miller, you would get a longer list; all the Miller results above plus the same list for Jeff. This type of search is refered to as an "Any Terms" search. By using the search form at the bottom of this page, you can change the Match setting from "Any Terms" to "Exact Phrase". Using the above example, if you search for Jeff Miller and select "Exact Phrase" from the drop down menu, the list returned will be reduced to CDs that feature Jeff Miller.
