ContraNews contains information of interest to contra dancers all over the United States. In each issue you will find tour dates, information about festivals, workshops, and special events, and, of course, new CDs that are added to Contracopia. Each month we feature a different band or artist, so you can learn a little about a musician who is world-famous in their own community.
ContraNews is sent once a month. There is an occasional extra issue if something really important comes up, but all emails are about contra dancing in some shape or form. There will also be occasional special offers made only through this email.
Most people are concerned about privacy when signing up for something like this, and rightly so. The mailing list for ContraNews is managed by Topica, and I have found them to be reliable. They have their own privacy statement that you can read. Here at CyberYankee, we go out of our way to combat spam, and have a strict Privacy Statement of our own. If at any time you want to be remove from the ContraNews list, a simple blank email is all it takes. Removal instructions are on ever issue of ContraNews.
